Work With Andrea - Organisations
Sometimes nothing is obviously wrong. Performance looks fine.
The conversations are happening. The plan is clear.
And still, something’s off.
That’s usually when I get brought in.
I work with senior leaders and organisations who don’t need another framework or someone to tell them what to do.
They need someone who can see what’s actually going on and name it. Not just in the strategy. In the room.
I work with the whole leader, not just the role they’re paid to play. Because the real leadership work happens underneath the title, the performance, the polish.
That’s the bit most people avoid. That’s the bit I stay with.
When I get the call
Sometimes something isn’t working and no one inside can see it clearly. Sometimes there’s no single issue at all, just a sense that something’s being avoided. Or softened. Or left unsaid. Sometimes it’s about development. Talent. Progression. Helping people stop defaulting, and choose how they lead. Different entry points. Same work.
Most leadership development focuses on behaviour. I focus on who someone is when they’re behaving that way. Finding out who’s underneath all the culture, the expectations, and the unwritten rules. When that shifts, things get said sooner. Decisions stop circling. Second-guessing reduces. The energy in the room changes. Teams feel it. And yes, performance follows.
How I work
I stay independent. No internal politics. No agendas to protect. No interest in keeping things comfortable. I say what I see. Clearly. In the moment. And I don’t move off it just because it would be easier. If my family were watching me through a window at work right now, would they recognise me? That question is my measure of authenticity. And it’s the reason that every time someone meets me, in a boardroom, a coaching room, or a workshop, they get the ‘real me.’
I’ve walked away from work that didn’t sit right. I was once asked to leave something out of a presentation. When I challenged it, I was told it was non-negotiable. Leaving it out would have been dishonest. So I walked away.
That’s who you’re bringing in. If something needs saying, I’ll say it. If something isn’t aligned, I won’t pretend it is.
What's it like to have me in the room
“I’m a Chief Executive, so your direct style and ability to challenge is what’s needed!” Chief Executive, Not for Profit Organisation, UK
“I’ve not met someone who is so comfortable and confident in their own skin, for a long time. It’s a pleasure to work with you.” Clinical Director, NHS England and NHS Improvement, UK
“Andrea identified the potential root cause of the issues which hadn’t been something I had been aware of. But on reflection, Andrea’s identification of the issue was accurate.” Clinical Service within NHS Trust, UK
“Your skill in peeling back the layers really helped me look at my inner core and built up a greater understanding of myself.” Head of Operations, Specsavers, UK
“Thanks for reminding me that I’m important.” Head of Safeguarding, Premier League Club, UK
Ways we work together
Every organisation is different. The work might look like:
Executive & Leadership Coaching Individual or team. Including working with leader and commissioner together.
Leadership Partnership (Fractional) Ongoing strategic support without a full-time role.
Leadership Diagnostics Seeing clearly where things really are, not where they’re reported to be.
Team Facilitation & Away Days The conversations that need to happen. Properly.
Programmes & Masterclasses From a single session to longer-term work.
Let's talk
Over 25 years, I’ve worked with leaders, teams, and organisations across multiple sectors and four continents. CEOs, senior leaders, clinical directors, heads of service, and leadership teams across healthcare, education, professional sport, not for profit, and private organisations.
I’m level 7 qualified in Coaching, Mentoring, and Action Learning Facilitation. Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. Accredited in Strengthscope®, MBTI®, Mental Toughness, and Emotional Intelligence.
Former Director of Organisational Development. Set up a subsidiary company and recruited and led a team of nine OD associates. And run Ad Florem since 2015.
What matters most isn’t the names or the qualifications. It’s the moment, often mid-conversation, when someone realises: “That’s me.” And decides to stop avoiding it.
“Thank you, Andrea. You’ve given me permission to do my job. My way.” Senior Leader, UK
Let’s talk. No price list. No off-the-shelf package. Just a conversation about what’s actually needed, and whether we’re the right fit. You’ll know quickly if it is.
