Leadership coaching programmes that will help you regain your confidence
I get it. Leadership can be hard. The pressure is on to attend back-to-back meetings, respond to ever-changing targets, deal with challenges, and manage constant change. As well as inspire your team and show up as a leader.
It’s something everyone expects you to be good at. But one minute you feel at the top of your game. And within seconds, you feel like an imposter. In other words, you’re doubting yourself and your abilities.
Perhaps you withdraw from speaking up because you feel intimidated by some people. Worry as you sit overthinking situations. Scared of making a mistake or messing up. Annoyingly, you find yourself people pleasing and saying yes. When deep down you know you should be saying no.
As a result, you fail to connect with some of your team, and feel like you’re not making a difference, despite all your hard work. You find yourself shaking your head, wondering “what have I done?”
You’ve felt unsettled for a while as you’ve noticed you’re judging and doubting yourself more. You are physically, mentally, and emotionally drained. At the same time, your family is noticing small changes in your behaviour.

What you really want is more focus on what's important, better relationships and honest conversations, and a belief in yourself so you can show up as the real you.
Welcome to my leadership coaching programmes
Helping you feel confident on the inside and outside (rather than just appearing it on the outside).

They are substantially different than the mainstream as I help you manage the competing facets of leadership by starting with you. Because to manage constant change and challenges you need to develop your internal resources first. And that starts with developing your self-leadership, focusing on your values, strengths, mindset, and emotions. Before moving on to building your leadership presence, focusing on your language, behaviour, and approach.
From my 20 years’ experience of supporting leaders, I know how important it is to stay true to yourself as you climb the leadership ladder. It’s this solid foundation that leads to being more fully equipped and adept at dealing with the everyday challenges and making the necessary changes in your personal and professional life.
As you start to be more courageous, you’ll feel happier and be able to enjoy your job once again. You’ll feel reinvigorated and enthusiastic as you start to believe in yourself and show up as the real you.
What's included in the leadership coaching programmes?
CONTRACT
Leadership coaching contract
A formal contract which summarises the agreement for coaching provision.
It sets out what you can expect from me, and what I can expect from you.
As well as outlining how we’ll work together, it shows our commitment to the coaching relationship by clarifying responsibilities, confidentiality, structure, and timescales.
A coaching contract is mandatory and is the key to our successful coaching partnership. It starts to build trust before the coaching begins, and we both get a better understanding of each other, which leads to a longer-lasting relationship.
ASSESS
Leadership baseline data document
A reflection document for you to record your current thoughts, feelings, leadership challenges etc.
As well as identifying your baseline data, it’s an opportunity for you to think about your coaching goals.
We will refer to this document at the end of the coaching programme to compare your situation before and after coaching and see your transformation.
Psychometric assessments (optional). A variety of online assessments you can take, e.g. Strengthscope®, MTQPlus, MBTI®, EQ-i 2.0, EQ360 and TKI. Feedback will be shared in one of the coaching sessions.
AGREE
Leadership goal setting session
A coaching call to explore what you want to achieve, set your coaching goal, and agree your measures of success.
It’s an opportunity to go through your baseline data document and think about what you want to achieve.
We’ll dig deep to understand why that is important for you and identify any blockers or challenges that you may feel will get in the way.
Then, we’ll clarify your coaching goal around self-leadership and leadership presence and agree your measures of success so you can demonstrate you’ve achieved your goal.
Measurement is at the heart of my programmes and is focused on what success looks like from the perspective of you, your team, and your organisation.
COACH
Leadership coaching calls
Dedicated time for you. Each session includes a review from the last session and a clear focus based on your goal.
I’ll share experiences to help with those ‘aha’ moments, bring new perspectives and inspire you to take action.
I’ll bring my 20 years’ experience, qualifications and training in leadership coaching, mindset, emotions, strengths, and personality.
Not only will this help you dig deep into your thoughts and assumptions, but also uncover those blocks to reveal new ways to reach your goals.
Each session ends with an agreement of your key actions to help you focus your time and efforts in making positive changes to your mindset, behaviour, and approach.
CHECK-IN
Leadership nudges
Positive reinforcement to encourage you to implement your actions.
Email reminders which provide regular check ins with your progress, remind you to take action and keep you accountable, while you navigate the daily challenges and deadlines of work and life.
‘Just in time’ 10 minute calls which provide quick access to me, when you face particular challenges and would like to resolve asap.
APPLY

It’s an opportunity to:
- Reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours
- Acknowledge the progress you’ve made towards your goals
- Identify what you still need to achieve
- Share your experience of the coaching programme
At this stage, it’s useful to refer to the baseline data document you completed at the start of the programme, so you can start to see your transformation.
EVALUATE

It’s an opportunity to:
- Review your progress
- Demonstrate what measures of success you’ve achieved
- Explore what the next 6 months look like
- Agree a longer-term development plan
This call is scheduled 3-4 weeks after your last coaching call and will refer to the baseline data document, so you can truly see your transformation.
Leadership coaching programmes
My coaching programmes are focused on helping you develop your self-leadership and build your leadership presence. They are customised to you and your needs and can be:
- Between 9 and 18 sessions
- Either 60 or 90 minutes long
- Offered every 2 to 4 weeks
- Inclusive of assessments
- Paid in full or monthly
The investment ranges from £3,297 – £8,197 (inc VAT).
After the initial coaching programme, many clients continue working with me on a regular monthly / quarterly basis for ongoing accountability and development. Think of it as a regular MOT / end of term review. This helps review new behaviours and habits, explore new challenges, and demonstrates a commitment to personal learning and continuous growth.
Please note
If you are working within an organisation and you have a sponsor as part of the coaching, their role is to provide encouragement and leadership to you throughout the coaching relationship. They will be involved in the initial goal setting session to agree your focus and measures of success; and the regular reviews to share their experience of your transformation and evaluate the overall coaching experience. Something they are not involved in, is the coaching sessions and therefore any content discussed during these sessions is not shared with your organisational sponsor unless there is a serious concern about the safety of you or others.
Get started with my leadership coaching programme
Leadership coaching is not a coffee and a chat.
Ultimately, it’s about action and change.
It’s not easy, and at times it will feel uncomfortable. Believe me, that’s a good thing. It means you’re listening to your inner self, facing up to your challenges, and stretching yourself to make positive changes to your mindset, behaviour, and approach.
"Andrea has made a tangible difference to the delivery of the services I lead."
When I met Andrea, I was overwhelmed by the challenges and complexities of managing a key service in the NHS. I needed the time and space to think, away from the workplace, so I could clearly express my thoughts and feelings, and consider the impact of my decisions on the patients in my care.
Her ability to get to the heart of the issue means you are gaining invaluable insight into your own behaviours and drivers and those of others. This 'thinking time' helped me implement a new, re-designed service and make significant efficiencies. My work was even nominated for awards! Many thanks for all your support Andrea, you have given me clarity of thought in chaotic times and during periods of great change within the NHS.

My leadership coaching programmes enable you to
♥ Speak your mind. Because when you verbalise how you feel and are listened to without criticism, you’ll feel so much better
♥ Reconnect with yourself. Not only to see yourself more positively, but also to give yourself more credit, when things work well (not just feel that the success was a fluke of fate which you had little valuable input)
♥ Face the things you’re not comfortable about / need to change. It’s time to confront your ‘home truths’ and say goodbye to imposter syndrome
♥ Explore your thoughts, assumptions, habits, and behaviours. When you stop overthinking situations, you’ll gain new perspectives of yourself and the impact you have on others
♥ Look beyond the obvious. In other words, dig deep and peel back the layers to find new ways to reach your goals
♥ Create your own solutions. Be ready to unlock opportunities for improvement and own your actions to promote behavioural change

My leadership coaching programmes help you focus on leading yourself first. That way, you'll be in a much better place to lead others with confidence.
When I started working with Andrea, I had lost my confidence, my sense of purpose and felt disillusioned with my role. Andrea was fabulous. She helped me unpick the exact things that were causing me to be stressed and regain my sense of pride in all I have achieved in my career to date.
Now, I’m mostly back to full strength, happier and more fulfilled. People within my team are clearer about what I expect of them and how they need to perform their duties. I feel as though I have got my work-life ratio much more balanced and my family are happier that I'm happier, too! Honestly, my thanks to Andrea. I really don't think I would still be doing the job if she hadn't come along when she did.

This little button could be the difference between nothing changing and everything changing.

About Andrea
My purpose is to inspire and make you think, so you can make changes to your life. Yes, you’ve guessed it. I’m a true believer, that all change starts with you. As my Gran once said to me “you can’t be a great mum, wife, daughter etc; if you’re not a great you”.
This message has stayed with me for over 20 years while I’ve supported many leaders across the NHS, local government, housing, further education, private and not for profit sectors. This has included Chief Executives, Directors, Clinical Directors, Headteachers, Deputy Headteachers, Heads of Service, Regional Managers, Engineers, Clinicians, Founders, Designers, Creatives and Marketeers.
The core of my support is focusing on you leading yourself first. Then you’re in a much better place to lead others with confidence.
I’m a qualified coach and facilitator, with a Level 7 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring and a Level 7 qualification in Action Learning Facilitation. And I also hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector. To further support my clients, I’m also an accredited Strengthscope®, MBTI®, Mental Toughness and Emotional Intelligence practitioner.
I’ve been recognised for my writing skills by being featured in many publications on the topic of self-leadership and leading yourself first. As well as winning the Northern Enterprise Award for Best Leadership Development Consultancy in 2019; the Influential Businesswoman Awards for Leadership Coaching Director of the Year (UK) in 2021; the Education and Training Awards for Best Leadership Development Consultancy UK, and Leadership Coaching Director of the Year UK in 2022; and the Influential Businesswoman Awards for Business Skills Training Coach of the Year (North West England) in 2022.
So as my Dad would say, I know my stuff!

What my clients say about my leadership coaching
For the last 20 years, I’ve had consistent feedback from my clients who say I’m understanding and challenging, insightful and practical, and always believe you can, and will, find your own answers. With this approach, I build rapport very quickly. As one of my coaching clients shared “working with Andrea is like talking to a really good friend who you trust implicitly.” I want us to have this connection, so you can be open and speak your mind, without fear of criticism or being seen as a failure, or weak.
In my work I bring the ‘real me’. This enables you to bring your real self too. So, for whatever reason my two sons walk in the room we’re working together in, they would never ask “why is mum behaving like that!” That’s because from how I’m behaving, they would instantly recognise me for ‘me’, and that’s what I want for you. It’s important because when you stop pretending and take stock of your habitual thinking and unhelpful behaviours, you discover your authentic self and show up as the real you.
Leadership coaching is all about action and change. And this means digging deep and peeling back the layers, to get to the heart of the issue. I’ll tell you the truth, even if you don’t want to hear it. As one of my clients shared “if you’re looking for an easy option, then Andrea isn’t for you.”

When I started working with Andrea, I was unclear of my values and needed to revisit my vision and strengths. Andrea kept things simple and gave me the frameworks to facilitate my thinking. What stood out for me in the coaching sessions was the simplicity of getting to my core values. I had all the answers but needed to spend the time to look at them in detail without any other distractions.
Now I’m being my authentic self more of the time, building relationships with new colleagues and making decisions based on my values. Thank you Andrea, your skill in peeling back the layers, really helped me look at my inner core and built up a greater understanding of myself.

Yes I am a qualified coach with a CMI Level 7 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring. I believe qualification is very important when choosing a coach, as there are many people calling themselves a coach today who have had no formal training.
In addition, I have a Level 7 qualification in Action Learning Facilitation, Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector. To further support my clients, I’m also an accredited Strengthscope®, MBTI®, Mental Toughness and Emotional Intelligence practitioner; and a member of the EMCC and the Association for Coaching. Being fully insured is important too, therefore I have full professional indemnity and liability insurance (despite in 20 years of practice never needing it).
My clients say I’m understanding and challenging, insightful and practical, and always believe you can, and will, find your own answers. So you won’t find the coaching sessions full of advice and me explaining what steps you specifically need to take to regain your confidence.
With this approach, I build rapport very quickly. As one of my clients shared “working with Andrea is like talking to a really good friend who you trust implicitly.” I want us to have this connection, so you can be open and speak your mind, without fear of criticism or being seen as a failure, or weak.

So for whatever reason my two sons walk in the room we’re working together in, they would never ask “why is mum behaving like that!” That’s because from how I’m behaving, they would instantly recognise me for ‘me’, and that’s what I want for you.
I work on energy! Which means I now only spend time on activities that energise me and where I feel I can add value. My Mum used to say this was very “diva-ish!” But for me it’s simple. I need to feel it, and be energised by it, otherwise I won’t perform at my best!
I believe leadership coaching is all about action and change! And this means digging deep and peeling back the layers, to get to the heart of the issue. I’ll tell you the truth, even if you don’t want to hear it. As one of my clients shared “if you’re looking for an easy option, then Andrea isn’t for you.” I challenge you to challenge yourself, so you can change your habitual thoughts and behaviour.
My purpose is to inspire and make you think, so you can make changes to your life. Yes, you’ve guessed it. I’m a true believer, that all change starts with you. As my Gran once said to me “you can’t be a great mum, wife, daughter etc; if you’re not a great you. To support openness, honesty and to build a trusting relationship, confidentiality will be maintained between you and me in line with the Association for Coaching and European Mentoring and Coaching Council Global Code of Ethics. I’m in professional supervision; therefore, some aspects of the coaching sessions will be discussed with a supervisor, who is also bound by a confidentiality protocol.
If you are working within an organisation and you have a sponsor as part of the coaching, remember their role is to provide encouragement and leadership to you throughout the coaching relationship. They will be involved in the initial goal setting session to agree your focus and measures of success; and the regular check-ins to evaluate the outcomes of your coaching sessions and evaluate the overall coaching experience.
Something they are not involved in, is the coaching sessions and therefore any content discussed during these sessions is not shared with your organisational sponsor unless there is a serious concern about the safety of you or others.
Due to the personal and confidential nature of coaching, some of the happiest, most satisfied, clients do not want to go “on record”. This is why only a small selection of my clients are featured on my website with testimonials. You can see what some of my clients have said by visiting my website and if want to have a brief chat with one of my previous or current clients, I am happy to arrange.
All coaching sessions are held online using Zoom technology.
The calls typically follow this structure:
- Check in with you to review how things have gone since the last session
- Agree area of focus
- Main session of coaching to share experience / challenge, explore blocks, gain new perspectives and learning, and
- Agree key actions to make the necessary changes
That feeling of overwhelm is because you’re trying to be everything to everyone. What you’ll learn in the leadership coaching programme is that making time for you isn’t a day at the spa or a week’s holiday. It’s prioritising the small daily actions that support you regain your confidence. It might feel like you don’t have time, but you’ll soon realise that you gain back that time and more, thanks to increased energy, focus and confidence.
Previous clients have shared that initially they said they didn’t have the time, but on reflection, the real reason was fear of failing, being good enough, being found out, not living up to others’ expectations, being questioned etc.
So, I challenge you to make a decision. It’s either important or it’s not. I’m a true believer that if you think it’s important enough, you’ll make the time.
Approximately 60 minutes in between sessions to focus on any learning resources to increase your knowledge; reflect on your thoughts, assumptions, habits and behaviours to gain new personal insights and perspectives; and commit to your key actions.
This is very common among leaders, as you have people constantly looking up to you; and you need to be seen as strong, confident and decisive. But you’re only human, and being able to ask for help isn’t a weakness; it’s actually a strength. It also demonstrates that you put effective outcomes above your personal pride. That’s a sign of a good leader.
As an external coach I’m completely impartial and as I don’t work in your organisation I come with no prior knowledge or am affected by any internal politics. You can be confident that anything you share is confidential and it’s a safe space to discuss anything you might be uncomfortable sharing with colleagues, team or your own line manager.
I’ll give you the space you need to speak your mind and listen without judgement. I don’t just listen to your words – I listen to all the spaces in between the words – the emotions.
As one of my clients shared “working with Andrea is like talking to a really good friend who you trust implicitly.” I want us to have this connection, so you can be open and speak your mind, without fear of criticism or being seen as a failure, or weak.
No, and that’s because I guarantee by the end of your coaching programme you will have achieved what you set out to achieve. It’s why I include regular check-ins at the start of each session, along with reflection questionnaires at the start, mid way and end of the programmes. That way, any concerns can be addressed in the moment where I’ll support you to get back on track, rather than left until the end of the leadership coaching programme.
Yes – when you book your coaching programme you will offered monthly payments as an option.
Great! I’d love to answer them. You can either send me an email or book in a Right Fit Call here. Speak soon.
Who is the leadership coaching programme for?
This is for you if you’re a leader who is:
- Honest with yourself and open to speak your mind, without fear of criticism, or being seen as a failure or weak
- Positive about yourself, so you can feel confident in yourself and have belief in your abilities
- Willing to confront your ‘home truths’ and face the things you’re not comfortable about or need to change
- Curious, through reflection, exploration, and challenge, so you can gain new perspectives of yourself and the impact you have on others
- Committed to reflect at a deep level and trust that you’ll find your own answers
- Open minded, and willing to try new ways of thinking and new approaches, to develop outside your comfort zone
- Serious in your intent to change, see through your commitments and inform Andrea when things aren’t working for you
What's the next steps?

Step 1: Book your Right Fit Call
The coaching programmes I provide start with a 30 minute Right Fit Call which enables us both to get a feeling for whether our personalities ‘click’ and decide if we want to work together.
It’s all about what your heart says! For coaching to work, we both need to feel optimisitic, excited, and really engaged with the idea of working together.
We’re looking for answers to “can I work with you?” and “how do I feel about you?”

Step 2: Let’s get ready
If we both get a feeling that our personalities ‘click’ and decide to work together, the next stage includes signing a contract which details how we’ll work together.
It sets out what you can expect from me and vice versa, as well as clarifying responsibilities, confidentiality, structure, and timescales.
We’ll sign the contract then we can get started on the baseline data document and book in your goal setting session.

Step 3: Ooze with confidence
Dedicated time for you in the coaching sessions where you’ll dig deep into your thoughts and assumptions and uncover blocks to reveal new ways to reach your goals.
I’ll share experiences and bring my 20 years’ experience, qualifications and training in leadership coaching, mindset, emotions, strengths, and personality.
You’ll feel confident on the inside and outside (rather than just appearing it on the outside).
Remember, you can’t be a great leader, if you’re not a great you. It’s time to invest in yourself.
So, no matter what you feel is stopping you from feeling happy and positive, or standing in the way of you regaining your confidence – whether it’s your family, your colleagues, your working environment, or the culture of your organisation – I promise you, it isn’t that!
My challenge is always, let’s start with YOU!
Regaining your confidence on the inside, as well as the outside, doesn’t happen by magic!
It really is going to take effort on your part. It’s going to mean you being:
- Serious in your intent to change, see through your commitments and inform Andrea when things aren’t working for you
When you consider what this will bring you, believe me it’s worth it!
When I started working with Andrea, I was trying to keep everyone happy. I felt overloaded at work as I was taking on too much. This was leaving me, and my team overwhelmed, and work was seeping into my home life.
Taking the time out to really think through the issues I was facing and breaking them down in a practical way, was just what I needed. Andrea is very warm and easy to talk to. She asks great questions to get quickly to the heart of the issues and focused on my own behaviours and the steps I could take immediately to improve things.
Through the coaching experience, I’ve realised I can be more organised than I thought once I create my own boundaries. I’m more aware of how I plan and allocate my time to allow me to get work done and to reduce the feeling of overwhelm. This has given me more time to do the actual work and to think and plan it, and I feel less personal stress. It’s also enabled me to leave work at a reasonable time each day and spend more time with others, particularly my family. Thanks Andrea, the coaching has been thought-provoking, positive but challenging, very practical and effective, and tailored to my needs.
