I get it. Leadership can be hard. The pressure is on to attend back-to-back meetings, respond to ever-changing targets, deal with challenges, and manage constant change. You’re expected to spend a lot of time focusing on external factors.
But how often do you spend time focusing on you?
Taking time out to focus on yourself doesn’t come natural for a lot of people. There’s usually something else or someone else who needs you more, or you simply don’t have the time.
I know from supporting many leaders that you may be hesitant to put time aside for yourself, as you may feel guilty. So, you plod on, thinking you’ll get round to it. But the reality is …you don’t!
Failing to focus on yourself and your leadership practice can result in a busy approach doing what comes next, rather than what needs to be done. Although you spend every minute of every day living your life, if you're preoccupied with these external factors, you can lose touch with yourself.

Helping you take time out so you can flourish as a leader
My group coaching programmes are substantially different than the mainstream as I help you manage the competing facets of leadership by starting with you. Because to manage constant change and challenges you need to develop your internal resources first. And that starts with taking time out to develop your self-leadership and build your leadership presence.
From my 20 years’ experience of supporting leaders, I know how important it is to take time out for yourself. It’s this regular ‘thinking time’ that leads to being more fully equipped and adept at dealing with the everyday challenges and making the necessary changes in your personal and professional life.
Each group also gets to choose what topics you what to focus on, so you can tailor the programme to your development needs, rather than work to a ready-made programme.
As you start to make time for yourself, you’ll be able to focus on what’s important and enjoy your job once again. You’ll feel more energised as you start to believe in yourself and flourish in your personal and professional life.
What's included in the 6-month group coaching programme?
Group coaching contract
A formal contract which summarises the agreement for coaching provision.
It sets out what you can expect from me, and what I can expect from you.
As well as outlining how we’ll work together, it shows our commitment to the coaching relationship by clarifying responsibilities, confidentiality, structure, and timescales.
A coaching contract is mandatory and is the key to our successful coaching partnership. It starts to build trust before the coaching begins, and we both get a better understanding of each other, which leads to a longer-lasting relationship.
Baseline data document
A reflection document for you to record your current thoughts, feelings, leadership challenges etc.
As well as identifying your baseline data, it’s an opportunity for you to think about your goals.
We will refer to this document at the end of the group programme to compare your situation before and after coaching and see your transformation.
Psychometric assessments (optional). A variety of online assessments you can take, e.g. Strengthscope®, MTQPlus, MBTI®, EQ-i 2.0, EQ360 and TKI followed by a feedback coaching session.
Get to know each other and goal setting
Our first coaching call in month one, to get to know each other and start to build trust as a group.
We’ll explore what you want to achieve, set your coaching goal, and agree your measures of success.
Collectively as a group, we’ll agree the themes for months two, three, four and five.
Group coaching calls
Monthly online group coaching sessions using the ‘Check-in, Learn, Action’ methodology.
Each session begins with a check-in and ends with action. The main part of the session is where the learning happens.
I’ll guide the discussions, stimulate insights, facilitate actions, and ensure you are held accountable.
You’ll receive a learning resource prior to each call, to get you thinking about the theme we’re focusing on.
Also, you’ll get a reflection document after the call to reflect on your thoughts, feelings, behaviour, and approaches. And to record your actions.
A document for you to reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours; and acknowledge the progress you’ve made towards your goals.
It’s also to identify what you still need to achieve and share your experience of the coaching programme.
Group review coaching call
Our final group coaching call takes place in month six and is focused on acknowledging your individual progress as well as our collective progress.
It’s an opportunity to review your progress and demonstrate what measures of success you’ve achieved.
Also, we’ll explore what the next 6 months looks like and agree a longer-term development plan. This is the final group coaching call, and we’ll refer to the baseline data document, so you can truly see your transformation.
Self-Leadership and Leadership Presence
There are two areas of focus:
– Developing your self-leadership
– Building your leadership presence
The areas of focus for sessions two, three, four and five are agreed by each group. The themes include values, strengths, mindset, self-talk, emotions, personality; react/respond, difficult conversations, coaching, conflict, wellbeing, resilience.

Group coaching programme – bring 8 leaders together and the potential is huge!
The programme is centred around key themes which have consistently emerged during my coaching relationships over the last 20 years. The added advantage of the group coaching programme is you’ll work together to address your common challenges and explore new possibilities as a group.
You’ll benefit from my own and your peers’ experiences to help with those ‘aha’ moments, bring new perspectives and inspire you to take action. I’ll also bring my 20 years’ experience, qualifications and training in leadership coaching, mindset, emotions, strengths, and personality. Not only will this help you dig deep into your thoughts and assumptions, but also uncover those blocks to reveal new ways to reach your goals.
The group is capped at 8 to encourage you to be honest and speak openly about your challenges. This helps in building rapport with the group, developing trust and creating deep connections with each other.
The group coaching calls are not just ‘tick-box’ attendance – they are about learning, action, and change.
I believe that there’s no true learning until there has been behavioural change. It’s why you’ll be encouraged to identify opportunities to implement your learning in the workplace. This turns the experience from transactional ‘tick-box’ attendance, to embedding new tools and new learning that will bring lasting results.
The coaching programmes are focused on helping you develop your self-leadership first and build your leadership presence.
The investment for one 6-month programme is £637 (inc VAT) or you can pay in two instalments of £347 (inc VAT).

Group coaching is not a coffee and a chat.
Ultimately, it’s about learning, action, and change.
My group programmes are not for you if you want to sit quietly, soak up all the information and then do nothing (you can get enough of that through free eBooks, free webinars, free networking etc). They are all about taking time out, away from the chaos and pressures of work and life to focus on you. And that’s about reflecting, learning, and making positive change.
They are not easy, and at times it will feel uncomfortable. Believe me, that’s a good thing. It means you’re listening to your inner self, facing up to your challenges, and stretching yourself to make positive changes to your mindset, behaviour, and approach.

I’m a qualified coach and facilitator, with a Level 7 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring and a Level 7 qualification in Action Learning Facilitation. And I also hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector. To further support my clients, I’m also an accredited Strengthscope®, MBTI®, Mental Toughness and Emotional Intelligence practitioner.
I’ve been recognised for my writing skills by being featured in many publications on the topic of self-leadership and leading yourself first. As well as winning the Northern Enterprise Award for Best Leadership Development Consultancy in 2019.

Step 1: Book your Right Fit Call
The coaching programmes I provide start with a 30 minute Right Fit Call which enables us both to get a feeling for whether our personalities ‘click’ and decide if we want to work together.
It’s all about what your heart says! For coaching to work, we both need to feel optimisitic, excited, and really engaged with the idea of working together.
We’re looking for answers to “can I work with you?” and “how do I feel about you?”
Step 2: Let’s get ready
If we both get a feeling that our personalities ‘click’ and decide to work together, the next stage includes signing a contract which details how we’ll work together.
It sets out what you can expect from me and the group, and vice versa, as well as clarifying responsibilities, confidentiality, structure, and timescales.
We’ll sign the contract then we can get started with the group calls.
Step 3: Flourish
Dedicated time for you in the coaching sessions where you’ll check-in with yourself, learn new perspectives, and change your thoughts, behaviour, and approach.
